"The location was excellent just a short walk to Moto-Hakone and nearby restaurants. The walk back uphill is definitely doable, but I’d recommend taking a taxi, especially after a long day out. The home itself is tucked away in the mountains, offering a peaceful and private setting. It was beautifully designed and comfortably accommodated our family of six. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food.
