"The bottom floor with the sauna, onsen and showers was incredible. There was a staff only door which was a little concerning near the bedrooms (which do not have a lock) but my group did not have any issues during our stay. The check in was a little troubling, we get there at night."

"Stunning hotel with amazing views across the lake, floor-to-ceiling windows in our room which was fantastically 1970s design in very high quality. The onsen overlooking the lake was also glorious. The breakfast. Buffet was fantastic and the staff were brilliant. Hakone’s sightseeing boat goes from next door and is a must."

"My group stayed at Villa H. Clean room and has the basic amenities. The location was convenient to other areas. We used a rental car, but there is also a bus stop right outside. Villa H was placed above another loft, so getting our larger luggage was a bit difficult, but we were aware of the room placement so no issues at all. Overall we really enjoyed the Villa and location. Thank you!"

"We loved our stay! The room was quiet and comfortable. We loved the public baths and breakfast (we didn't have dinner with our room). The staff was very welcoming. There's also a shuttle from the hotel down to the bus stop in Motohakone or it's an easy 15 min walk. "

"The entire place was horrible. It smelled of mildew. It had fixtures that were broken and ripped. It did not meet standards at all. Absolutely the worst place in the world to ever stay. I would never recommend this place. None of my worst nightmare it was completely beyond anything I’ve ever seen before cobwebs broken dirty.
