"The service was excellent. The check in/out process was rather laborious. Many people are “parked” in the lounge until their turn is up. There was an afternoon ensemble in the lobby, while talented, was very loud- not something I would expect in a spa. The baths were wonderful and beautiful in the evening. Breakfast was varied, fresh and delicious."

"It was a clean and comfortable stay, conveniently located near the station and convenience stores, with friendly staff. You can ship your suitcase to the airport via the Kuroneko Yamato service inside the station, and the Tully's Coffee on the ground floor is a lovely space—this is also where you can pick up your complimentary breakfast."

"Our spacious, comfortable room had a stunning view over the lake with Mt Fuji in the background. The staff were very attentive, especially in the main ryoken restaurant where we ate breakfast and dinner. Food was traditional, delicious and they catered well for my partner’s vegetarian diet (we informed the property a few days ahead). The public onsen was good to access directly from the hotel and provided a beautiful view over the lake. Very quiet. Courtesy bus makes it easy to reach the main town. Would recommend and would stay again."
