"There was always someone cleaning!! The cleanliness was impeccable. The food was fantastic however I would steer clear from the shrimp at the appetizer buffet at the steakhouse restaurant. The services were great. If you’re wanting to swim in the ocean, pick a hotel on the lagoon side unless you're a strong swimmer. The waves here are not very friendly. I would highly recommend booking your excursions online and not with anyone in person bc it is way more expensive! They always had activities going on in the resort everyday and they have a Star Camp for kids which looked like a lot of fun. The app was convenient for ordering room service (which is all free!!) and seeing what was on the schedule for each day. I wish the app allowed you to get on the waitlist for restaurants that were FCFS. I wish they had the mango cart every day😭 it was sooo good!! Overall would highly recommend this resort! "

"This hotel is really good. The staff is amazing, Reina at the front desk, Claudia at the coffee shop and Chef Ernesto really tried their best to make us feel appreciated. I like the food variety at the Buffet. There are 4 restaurants and tge food was good. Overall everything was great. The only things I would improve are the recreation activities and the rooms need a makeover. However everything was cleaned. I strongly recommend this hotel"

"Great resort and beach view from the balcony. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was thorough. Food was good. Somethings were amazing and some things I was a little disappointed. Overall, it was good the buffet had a huge selection. I liked that we didn’t have to make a reservation and it was first come first served. We would put our name down and then go get a drink to wait for our table. Only had to wait like 45 minutes, which is fine when you’re having a drink elsewhere. Restaurants were excellent. Pool area was great, however I wish there was a swim up bar. Entertainment staff was beyond excellent: shoutout to Emmanuel - he was a rockstar and exceeded our expectations! A designated smoking area on the resort somewhere would be nice. Overall our stay was amazing and we’d go there again. Emmanuel was a selling point for us! "

"We had an absolutely amazing family vacation at the Grand Park Royal. The view from our room was stunning, the beach was breathtaking , plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. My kids had the best time with the entertainment team playing beach volleyball games around the pool , activities at night - thank you to Dario, Carlos, Fernanda, and Joshua for making it memorable for us! The pool is beautiful, the food is great especially the fish restaurant at lunch, the Mexican at night, and the Asian restaurant we’re all great! The buffet is decent at night but the breakfast buffet was wonderful especially the fresh omelets every morning. The snack area around the pool was a hit for my kids with hamburgers hotdogs and fries all day. . All the staff throughout the entire resort were always so kind and friendly very attentive and always smiling . I loved that there was just the right amount of entertainment during the day without it being too crazy or loud so that it still felt very relaxing . Truly an amazing beautiful resort . "
