"We had a great stay! We have 4 kids between 5 and 9, they enjoyed the kids club for a couple hours every day while we had some alone time. Food was awesome, yummy desserts and breakfast pastries. The buffet was our favourite, lots of variation. 2 evenings a week the kids club has a party for the kids so we got to have date nights. The family suite was good. Occasional plugged drains and the ac broke once but overall, not a big deal - life happens everywhere same as at home. Staff are lovely, many have a decent knowledge of English which was helpful. The drinks have fake colour and sweetener which we don’t love, but that seems to be a cultural thing. Beach was amazing, lovely wide sandy area. We’ll definitely be back!"

"We stayed at Hotel NYX for our honeymoon for eight nights and were very pleased with our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we would gladly return. Our room was modern, spotless, and well maintained by housekeeping. The hotel also provided thoughtful honeymoon extras, including a door banner, swan towels with rose petals, champagne, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Our room faced Boulevard Kukulcán, which was busy and noisy in the evenings. While noticeable at first, white noise helped at night and we adjusted after a couple of days. All restaurants were good, with the buffet standing out. A few meals were underwhelming, but this was rare. The café was nice, though we wished more options were included in the all-inclusive, such as cold brew or iced coffee, and some days it was difficult to get coffee. Facilities and common areas were extremely clean. Bartenders were fast and friendly. Beach access was excellent, though some guests ignored no-smoking signage and lounge chair rules. The pool was well sized and never felt crowded, and the hot tubs were a great amenity. Interiors, landscaping, and staff were all excellent. Overall, Hotel NYX was clean, relaxing, and welcoming, with only minor drawbacks. We would recommend it and would happily return."

"Room was great and beach front access was excellent. Food choices were limited due to no availability on the onsite restaurant due to first come first serve policy for all but one restaurant. They do try to upsell you the vacation packages to pay them exorbitant prices in four years to enjoy for 20+ years. You can avoid that as staff is really friendly."
