" This is the forth time here and I was pleasently surprised at the renovations that were done since the last time we were here. Always loved this place because of the location, great food, and at a resonable price.This time the food was at another level. Best buffet I've ever been to for all inclusive. We always get the ocean front because there's just nothing better than that view from the balcony. Unfortunatly when we left my wife left her Ipad in the room and we didn't realize it until we were at the airport. We contacted the hotel and they told us when we get back home to phone them. We did that and were able to have it sent back home via their instructions.I have to thank them so much for their cooperation in making this possible.Definitely will return again soon."

"Room, hotel common areas, beach, restaurants, amenities were all great especially at "the level" service upgrade. My son and I had no problem at any of the restaurants, my wife had a bit of a problem as she is gluten and dairy free and doesn't eat meat except for fish. I would recommend this property! "

"Clean room. Amazing staff. Great food. The only issue we had was the lady who received us during the checking, scheduled the dinner on a wrong date, and when we came for dinner all restaurants were fully booked. But the manager at the Italian restaurant found a spot for us. Besides that, everything went perfect. I definitely would come back."

"Perfect size rooms for family of five, calm waters, peaceful feel. Went to Royal sands more action, larger pools, strong waves. Enjoyed our time. Decent food and reservation restaurants had very good food. "

"Overall, the Cancun Bay Resort is a budget-friendly hotel, but the reality is quite different from the pictures. When we arrived, the first room was dirty and things left on the bed, possibly even blood stains or makeup stains and even though we were given a free upgrade, the new room still wasn’t up to expectations. Staff repeatedly entered our room without knocking up to six times which made us feel extremely unsafe, especially with children. While it was marketed as all-inclusive, food options were limited, and not all drinks were included. On the plus side, though, even with a late flight, they let us keep using the facilities after checkout, and they stored our bags, which was really convenient. To their credit, when we reported an AC leak on the first night, maintenance did fix it quickly. So, it can work for a budget stay, but families especially should be cautious, as privacy and cleanliness were major concerns for us."

"The room was clean and sufficient but definitely run down and could use some fixing up and repair. Sliding door did not lock and weather stripping was hanging down. No art on the walls, but lots of "patched" areas were noticeable. There is no closet for hanging clothes and no mirror in the room so only mirror is in the bathroom. Also, bathroom door is frosted glass that offers very little privacy. Shower was very nice and AC worked really well."
