"This is the cleanest resorts we have ever stayed at in Mexico! Staff does an amazing job in keeping all the pools VERY clean & property tidy. Our room was cleaned quickly every day as soon as we left & all requests were quickly addressed. We had a villa w. garden view. The semi private pool for villa guests are an awesome touch. There are 3, & many hammocks to enjoy. I guess the only downside I would say is that all my kids had an awesome time. The kids star camp looked amazing, although my kids weren’t particularly interested in going since my daughter’s a bit older. They section it out for kids 4–7 and then 8–12 & they invited my 13 y/o to participate if she wanted. They offer many kids activities via star camp. Great place for kids particularly through ~ 10 as they have a nice pirate themed kids pool play area with slides perfect for younger kids. That pool is only ~ 1.5’ deep (?) so very safe / easy for kids to navigate. The food was relative good. I read many reviews before saw some complaints about the food, but as with all resorts, they have to serve masses of people so you’re not getting star quality typically. I think some people need an expectation reset for resort food. Only ick experience was at the hibachi- everything cooked to death. We went ~5:45 & almost no wait. The pool smashburger bar was super good! Buffet was good IMO - many options. Drinks were great & staff very very nice. Con: pedicure "

"Great staff, but the "Sun Club Master Suit" experience fell short of expectations. We booked the Sun Club Master Suite Ocean Front, expecting the VIP treatment typically associated with a high-end suite. Unfortunately, the service was rarely proactive; I often found myself following up on requests and experiencing long wait times. The Logistics: It was quite difficult to locate the pre-booked Amstar private shuttle at the airport. The Property: While well-maintained, the resort feels aged, and our room felt significantly dated for the price point. The Highlights: About 90% of the staff were wonderful and friendly, and the food was decent. Verdict: Between the aging facilities and the lack of proactive service, I didn't feel the experience was worth the premium we paid."

"I traveled solo for the first time and honestly loved everything about my stay. My oceanfront room was beautiful, and I was greeted with a nice bottle of champagne and a well-stocked minibar, which was a great touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room service ended up being one of the highlights of my stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!"

"We typically stay at Club Med properties and chose this resort last minute due to March Break availability. We came prepared to manage expectations; however, this property is, at best, a 3-star experience. The food was the most immediate disappointment—aside from breakfast, we chose to dine off-property most days. While the ocean is undeniably beautiful—turquoise water and white sand (with some seaweed, as is common across Cancun)—it does not compensate for the shortcomings in service and overall quality. Service was the biggest issue, particularly at the activity center. Over multiple days, we tried to access a basketball (listed as a complimentary activity) while both courts sat empty, yet were repeatedly given inconsistent and illogical reasons it wasn’t allowed. The lack of flexibility—and the attitude—made a simple request unnecessarily frustrating. There is also no enforcement around reserving pool and beach chairs. Towels are placed early and left for hours, making it difficult to find seating. Basic guest support was lacking. Even simple questions often led to being redirected to a concierge focused on selling a 90-minute timeshare presentation. This happened frequently enough that we stopped asking and navigated the resort on our own. We did raise concerns while on property; however, the responses did not meaningfully improve the experience. Unless this property is your only option within budget, I would recommend considering other resorts"
