My boyfriend and I could not recommend this resort enough. We were greeted by Christian at the door with a glass of champagne and cool towel. Absolutely amazing! It’s an expensive resort but you honestly get what you pay for! Jonathan was our butler and he moved mountains to accommodate us. Even after we moved to another room, we could still count on him answering our questions, reserving activities, making reservations, but most importantly giving what I believed to be honest feedback. Everything about the property was wonderful. The staff, leadership, and employees COULD NOT have been nicer and more helpful. Food was the best I've had at an all-inclusive. The only thing about it that wasn't perfect was the bar drinks - the mixes tasted cheap and the drinks were not strong. That being said, the service MORE than made up for a very minor issue. If the drinks matched the rest - this place would be HEAVEN!

My recent stay at this hotel in Cancun was an absolute delight. It’s the epitome of luxury, and the location is ideal. What truly stood out, though, was the incredible food. The dining experience was nothing short of amazing. A big plus is that in Cancún, where all-inclusive is common, this hotel offers a great option for those who want the flexibility to explore the area and not be tied to an all-inclusive plan. Very nice, small hotel (6 rooms, that backs up to a golf course. Owners very involved with the guests as well as very lovely people. Breakfast is great. Staff extremely accommodating. All at very good prices compared with the larger hotels in the zone.

Everything an all-inclusive, adults only resort should be. Very attractive modern facility. Nice elegant restaurant choices. Very friendly and attentive staff. All the food and drink you could want at all times of the day. No worries about tipping (we did some anyway). The only negative is the hard sell to buy more vacations through their chain of facilities. As opposed to one of the larger resort’s maze of paths and pools and restaurants (and people,) the Sun Palace has a more intimate boutique hotel feel. It’s been recently renovated, and it shows. We upgraded to a honeymoon suite (room 530) at check in (tip: wait until check in to upgrade for an opportunity to negotiate the price. I recently stayed at this beautiful resort that offers exceptional service and a range of dining options. As a foodie, I tried most of the restaurants and found the meals to be good overall. The Lobster House was my favorite, as it served outstanding breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Kitchen Table offered a breakfast buffet with plenty of delicious options for everyone. Had an excellent 5-night stay at the stunning Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. Located just a short 15-minute ride from the Cancun Airport, and nestled on a beautiful lagoon- it was the perfect location.
