The only negative was the constant upselling - at arrival, at dinner, in the mornings, for excursions, and even right before checkout. It upset the relaxing atmosphere to constantly to be prepared to repel a pitch. "

"Hotel has 4 specialities restaurants with reasonable quality and ambiance, Italian restaurant has nice terrace with view , open buffet selection was good quality but limited selection compared to other hotel chains, coffee shop available 24*7 with sandwiches and salads, fruits and cookies is an advantage"

"The resort is big and has lots to offer, but the condition of the rooms are really bad. We had initially booked a room at the sunrise resort which had a horrific room. Stains on the walls, furniture, countertops and even towels. We paid another 1600usd to upgrade to the grand which was supposed to have nicers rooms, but it was literally the same condition, just much bigger since we upgraded to the governor suite since thats all they claimed was available. Its a nice resort, good amount of activities and restaurants with kind staff. But the rooms are trash. Room service also took 1-2 hours to deliver anything from toiletries to food and this was slow season for them. "

"I was staying for 4 days, of which only one day cleaned my room, and that’s why I had to call someone to clean. They had the dirty dishes from two days in my room, used the towels from two days, that was disastrous, at the reception they don’t explain to you that there are different kinds of bracelets and being on the beach with my daughter made me move to another part of the beach because I didn’t have the red bracelet, no chairs to sit on and we were had to stay with all the people who smoke and me with a minor, the only good experience was the Almar restaurant, good attention and good food, and in the other restaurants, the food is not good, often cold and without flavor. "
