"Great resort "

"Located in the jungle.....with zero amenities other than overpriced food and drinks.....this hotel appears to be a bank repo run by Wyndham. Much about the site is unfinished...including the road leading up to the resort. As well....many rooms have no doorknobs...beds...or tvs. None of the rooms except the kitchenettes had a refrigerator....the sewer line to the main overflowed daily onto the road .....we had a water break that lead to several of us moving from one side to the other. Then we had a power failure. For the last three days we had no internet...no wifi...no tv.....and no compensation from the staff. As well.....they also fumigated during the day driving thousands of large cockroaches out onto the walks around the pools. The icing on the cake was that every employee....regardless of whether they were working on something or just standing around......every last one were in their phones. Everywhere.....even the manager as well as the chambermaid. This was THE worst resort I've ever stayed at in over 40 years of travels. Never ever stay at a Wyndham again.........never."

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The water park was great and our kids absolutely loved it. The food was also very good with plenty of options for everyone. Overall, it was a great experience and we would happily come back again."

And Edgar was also great as a host and made our dinner for my sister personable and it made her feel special on her birthday. Thank you Jan. Thank you staff.
