"The property is very nice. Pools are great and the lazy river was probably our favorite part. Do not come here for the beach. It is terrible and the water is brown. The restaurants were good but the buffet was terrible. Breakfast buffet was ok at best but the lunch and dinner buffet were not good compared to anywhere else we have stayed. There was just no selection. If you are more of a pool person this is the resort for you. Just stick to the restaurants."

"The resort and grounds were extremely nice and clean. The staff was over the top accommodating. We had an ocean view suite and it was beautiful. It looked like most rooms on the upper levels are ocean view, which is awesome. Every day when we walked into the buffett restaurant, Rogelio, Higinio and Gambino remembered us and knew we wanted iced tea and sweetner. They took our plates to the table and provided the best service. we have received in Mexico. The food was better than most of the all- inclusives we stayed at in the past, especially, the Italian Restaurant. The steak house was ok. One night I had a steak and didn't care for it. Another night I had Mahi Mahi and it was very good. This is a laid back resort with some activities, which was exactly what we wanted. We were there to relax and enjoy the sunshine. A few cons we experienced was the pressure to listen to the vacation package / time share presentation. I'm not sure what they call it, but we declined. It is not close to Puerto Morales or Cancun. It would have cost us $70 US dollars to get a taxi to take us and bring us back. This may not bother some people, but our TV worked about 1/2 the time. We called maintenance twice, but it still didn't work at times. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room, so it wasn't a big deal, more annoying than anything. We definatly recommend this resort!"

"O hotel é ótimo, próximo a Quinta Avenida onde há grande comércio, ao Walmart e rodoviária. O quarto é grande e confortável, os funcionários são gentis, com um sorriso no rosto para lhe atender, dispostos a ajudar. A área de lazer é muito boa, com atividades diversas e recreação. Café da manhã com muitas opções. Tem uma cafeteria bem gostosa que fica aberta até as 23 horas. Porém, Praia del Carmen não tem mar azul"

"Our stay at Moon Palace Sunrise was fantastic! This hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Room service was provided thru all our stay with clean towels,sheets and refreshments. All staff we encountered were attentive and friendly. There are Several pools throughout the hotel and free shuttles to their sister hotels where you can also enjoy their amenities and restaurants. One of the pools is specifically for children under 7 with a couple of slides, I have a 3 and 4 year old who love the area. Restaurants have a variety of food to enjoy Some do require reservations but we were able to access. Entertainment staff give you plenty of activity options to enjoy. Hotel also has an arcade for kids with free access to games and a bounce house. Hotel has beach access but the water wasn’t so pleasant lots of seaweed. We did reserve an all inclusive which worked out great for us. Over all we had a great time!! Best part of our trip was to see our kids smiles and happiness. Would definitely come back."
