Very disappointing experience – misleading shuttle info and poor quality overall
When booking this hotel, it clearly states that there is a free airport shuttle. However, when I arrived at the front desk around 1:00 pm, I was told the last shuttle left at noon and that no other shuttles were available. This was never disclosed in advance.
The hotel then offered to arrange a taxi for around $50—for a ride that takes about 7 minutes. I called an Uber instead and paid under $20, which says it all.
In the room, the only coffee provided was decaf. When I asked staff for regular coffee, I was told that’s all they have. Breakfast was also very poor—limited options, and the coffee served there was honestly undrinkable.
On top of that, the location is terrible. The hotel is in an ugly industrial area with no walkable options for food or drinks nearby. Even for a short stay in Cancun, this is not a good choice.
I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere—there are many better hotels in Cancun with honest policies, better service, and decent surroundings. Stay away.
