"The property was close to a supermarket and lots of restaurants. The apartment was beautiful and had air conditioning, which is a must if you come to Playa del Carmen. The host was very helpful and quick to reply, we will come back for sure."

"Wonderful attention to detail. Clean white linen and towels. Hot shower. Fresh coffee in am. Super clean!!! Pool area and pavillion with outside shower and bathroom. Full kitchen for use. Front desk staff very friendly speaking english very well. Carlos and Eduardo were outstanding. Always helpful and accomodating. Top of our list having stayed in Playa at 6 different places. Valuse for money is great. Looking forward to returning there"

"Definitely great for the price. Loved the two pools (although I didn't have time for them with frequent activities). Only 3 blocks away from 5th Avenue (Quintana Avenida). There were great restaurants nearby. Very clean. Loved seeing the Mayan culture on the walls. A more traditional and lovely hotel."

"Had a great stay at this centrally located, secure property which provided easy access to the beach, shopping, ADO station, etc. Did many extensions resulting in a 3 week stay. The apt was comfortable and had a nice balcony. the kitchenette came in quite handy for preparing meals and making tropical fruit smoothies. The only negative was the low water pressure in the shower. Barely used it, but the roof garden with pools, hot tub, etc was an awesome amenity. Maybe a little "

"We stayed at Casa Kaoba for 3 nights while in Playa del Carmen. I was pretty impressed. The hotel is beautiful and clean. we stayed in one of their larger rooms with a kitchen and patio on the first floor. Beautiful and spacious. The pool is huge, and their Pool hours are great. I would only suggest they invest in better mattresses, but otherwise for the price, I definitely recommend. It would also be nice to have more breakfast options. Will definitely return. "

"Such a lovely cozy property with kind owners/staff. Campus cat very friendly and we loved to pet her on the way to the room. Very secure. Close to main road for easy access to local shops/restaurants/parks. Supermarket around the corner for cheaper options. We truly enjoyed our stay!"

A good deal a bit away from the center.

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Angelo's. The room we had was very large at the end of the hall so our balcony wrapped around the building. We stayed for seven nights and each day our room was cleaned and the bed made and two bottles of water were supplied each day. The breakfast was fairly simple and not much variety over the seven days, but the service was wonderful. The man who served us was polite and very efficient. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The pool area was a nice place to relax. The only negative is that it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach area. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy but the people are friendly. The hotel is a very good deal for the amount of money it charges."
