"This was my second time staying at the Wyndham Hotel in Playa del Carmen, and overall, I had a pleasant experience once again. The location is fantastic, and the staff remains welcoming and friendly. However, I did notice that the bathroom curtains looked quite old, with visible stains and a bit of mold. Additionally, the towels looked quite old and yellowish. Aside from these areas for improvement, my overall experience was enjoyable."

"The room was great. More then expected. The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed our time there. Only issue we had booked for penthouse as there was an elevator and after day 3 elevator didn't work so we had to walk all those stairs. I do realize fixing it was out of the employees control so we can't say anything bad or negative about that. Overall I believe we had a great stay. Exactly what we wanted away from the tourist zone."

"What a gem of a property. Lovely quiet courtyard with pool, hammocks and chairs large room, comfy beds and plump pillows. Gorgeous Mexican palapa style house. Kitchen had basic utensils, missing a.few essentials like bottle opener! Quiet residential area. On street parking with cameras."

"Very noisy, dogs barking all the time, internet only works half the time and does not work in the bedrooms, hot water only half of the time, extremely noisy water pump on the roof that went off every two minutes for 20 seconds 24 HOURS PER DAY!!, not much in the kitchen to cook with, the fridge door doesn't close properly, no ceiling fan in the living room, the beds were hard as hell, the couch is made of cement with thin cushions on it, we had to install new showerheads ourselves, I'm sure I forgot a few things."
