The Clermont London, Charing Cross

The Clermont London, Charing Cross

10/10 Excellent
"Location, location, location….specifically if it’s a first trip to London and you want to be in proximity of popular attractions. There are two tube stations under 3-5 minutes walking distance (charring cross and embankment). Trafalgar Square attractions (National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery etc.) were under 10 minutes walking. Most other attractions were just a 1-5 stops away on the tube. Hotel staff were friendly, rooms and hotel in general was clean. The carpet in our room was a little stained but by no means a deal breaker. The complimentary mini bar was a great touch! We don’t drink, but it was so nice to have some cold soft drinks and water waiting for us at the end of the day. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay here and if we are back in London, we will be back here."

Park Plaza London Waterloo

Park Plaza London Waterloo

8/10 Good
"Stayed 5 nights – the first 3 days were flawless. The rooms are modern and clean, and the AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was satisfying, and the location is unbeatable – right by the London Eye, just a 1‑minute walk to Lambeth North underground station, and also a short walk to Westminster Bridge, Parliament, and Big Ben. Big plus: the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout. Dropping one star because the last 2 days housekeeping didn't change towels, empty the bins, which was a letdown after such a strong start. Still a solid 4/5 – would return for the location, comfortable rooms, and lovely team, just wish housekeeping was more consistent on longer stays."

"We have stayed at the hotel several times and the one obervation I would share is the dated technology in the rooms. The lact of smart phone connectivity is dated and unhelpful. All other aspects of our stay were fine and consistent with the high standards we expect of the hotel"
