"Paul at the front desk checked us in and he was very kind in getting us in a room after our long journey to London! We also had an issue where I plugged an iron in to the wrong outlet and it killed the electric in the room. They use WhatsApp as a method of communication. Within minutes of me texting...someone was at our door and reset the power."

"The location is excellent; close to the underground transport, restaurants, excellent cafes and Chinatown (lots of less expensive food options) and many tourist attractions. The room is quite small, especially the bathroom sink. A faucet with a bit more counter space would be much more convenient and comfortable. Overall, pleasant for a short stay."

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at St James and it just gets better everytime. The rooms are wonderful and the facilities superb. The location is 2nd too non and the food fantastic. We had the Midsummer Night's dream Afternoon tea which was delicious and a great experience. However, the highlight are the staff! We have been made to feel very special everytime we have been there and this time was next level. Prativa made the check in a very special experience and couldnt have been more helpful, the concierges Jean and William were amazing and really helped us out and it was fantastic to meet Binayak, who was so helpful in helping us with our next stay and Amar and Krishnanaveni who looked after us in the bar! The staff are amazing and are the main reason we go back! I have missed so many great people out! Thank you all, especially Prativa and Binayak! Binayak kolagi - Dherai Dhanybhad, ekdam ramro manche cha. Shyabash bhai! Dhanybad :)"

I am so grateful to them for that! Everything was perfect! Room was clean, amenities were lovely, and breakfast was delicious!"

"Lovely hotel with attentive staff. We rented a king room which was exceptionally maintained and clean. Our only complaint was the lack of storage, no drawers and a closet that was only about 12-inches wide. Consequently we had to live out of suitcases for a week which had to be stored on top of a small couch and table leaving no sitting area. I would recommend the hotel but not recommend a king room except for an overnight stay. In essence, be prepared to pay extra if you want a closet to hang your clothes in or a drawer to place them in."
