"The room was spotless but the heated towel rail in the bathroom was not working and could not be repaired while we were there. Several windows did not fit adequately and so were draughty. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Generally we felt privileged and cared about during our stay."

"It was one of many visits to the Strand and Covent Garden, and the hotel always is a great consistent standard. The staff are always helpful, the room excellent and the breakfast great. It was busy but there are other times people can go to breakfast than between 9am and 9:30am. "

"Very nice room and comfortable bed. Price covers the basics only, with rooms serviced only every other day. Staff very helpful but not many of them - the lady doing breakfasts was particularly busy and efficient single-handedly doing everything from greeting to maintaining supplies to clearing and cleaning!
