Great location. Room was clean and tidy. Food was great in the restaurant. Near St Katharines Dock, marina with excellent bars and restaurants. 5 min walk to underground at Tower Hill. Perfect location 10/10
The staff was very accommodating and quite respectful. Glad we opted to add breakfast to our stay every morning as it was a nice variety of good food. The only complaint that we had is the phone in our room didn't work for some reason for room service. But either way, it was a great hotel to stay in for London.

The view was amazing.. but rooms is old .. need to update the rooms
Lovely hotel in the middle of the city. Comfy bed and VERY quiet! The restaurant on-site is fairly reasonably priced, and the fish & chips were very good. There is a river adjacent outdoor bar that looked nice too.
I never made it down to breakfast because I wanted to get out-and-about as soon as woke up, so no clue how that was.
Location, location, location. Easy walk to all transportation hubs including the hop on, hop off bus. Staff was excellent and views from our room were amazing. Highly recommended for a stay in London. My only complaint was the construction noise on the morning we decided to sleep in. However, the hotel compensated our late check out fee.

Air conditioning not top notch. Very hot in the spring time
Its a wonderful location and facilities at the hotel and around it are excellent. It feels a bit special. Downside? It's a bit dated and air conditioning is not adjustable, so in 30c it was a hot night. I'll go back though because its charms outweigh its slightly 20th century demeanour.
Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was not looked at to be fixed until our final evening, despite informing staff when we checked in. The bedroom and bathroom are old, tired and outdated and need to be redone or painted. Walls were cracked, bathroom was very tired looking and could be fresher. Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We would not stay here again. We had 2 rooms and the air cooling system was not working in either room and it was a boiling hot day. We managed to get one of the rooms changed and were provided with an air cooler however the other room was boiling and not a great night’s sleep as a result. Great location and most of the staff were helpful but it was clear that the hotel were aware of this problem and I heard a number of people complaining. Not impressed.

Not love at first sight, when I saw the exterior I regretted booking here. Shabby and too big. (This fact was not stated on the booking site.)
Room not much better, didn’t sleep well for our 3 nights. No bar fridge, so couldn’t buy anything that needed it.
Shower in bath, with a shower curtain, I dislike both these things. Overall clean, but no attention to detail. Back of bathroom door was filthy, as was the drawer with hairdryer in it.
Area is nice, no shopping close by. Overall very disappointing.
I don’t know how this hotel got rated as a 4* hotel as it was far from 4* in my opinion. The room furniture is very outdated and is in desperate need of modernisation. The room also needs a fresh lick of paint. There was no mini fridge in my room which I would class as standard for a 4* hotel. The walls were cracking up in my room and there was also stains/marks on the wall. The hotel should just close for 6 months and just completely renovate all the rooms and bring it upto 2026 standards rather still being in 1986 standards. The only positives was the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Overall I don’t feel like I experienced very good value for money.
