"The room was very clean and the staff were welcoming. What I learned at check-in was that there is a no alcohol policy. I wasn't in Cancun to party but I do enjoy a beer or drink by the pool. I stayed 4 nights and on the 3rd night I only had a 5 minute shower because the water slowed down to a trickle. Also if you go out in the evening the gate may be shut so you have to wait on someone to open it. Then when you come back there is a button to push. It was very relaxing though and the A/C and ceiling fan kept it cool. "

"Room was very basic, they wanted to charge for a sheet and extra towel...three people booked in, one double bed and a stained pull out couch with no bedding. Bathroom was very gross, dirty, shower drain sloped the wrong way so you stood in cold slimy water. "

"I didn't use the airport shuttle and the taxi guys at the airport gouged me mercilessly. Use the shuttle and save yourself AU$100 one way. Better still get an Uber and save AU$145 one way. The Hacienda is Spanish quaint. great for families and excellent location."

"We booked this hotel for one night before our flight home from Cancun. Very easy access instructions as doesn't have a reception. It was very affordable and perfect for a one night stay. The room was clean and we had soap, toilet roll and an iron provided. I am not sure whether this is the best location for a longer trip in Cancun however it was absolutely perfect for our purposes. Would have been very helpful for a small bottle of water on arrival. Thankyou! "
