"They need more entertainment for kids and for adults as well. They only had ONE show for the night, is its around 7:30 to 8pm, so ypu either have to sacrifice the rest of your evening and leave to have a real early dinner, or chance it out and hope you can have a late dinner which I seriously doubt. The staff is this hotel are not really friendly, some of them act like you're bothering them when you ask them to provide a service, but not all of them are like that, I have encounter some really good staff, that a tally go above and beyond to help you, like for example Eduardo Baron, the manager of the pool area, Nadia and itza. Unlike staff members like Samir who did hes very best to show us that he DID NOT provide us any help whatsoever, people like that have no business working in customer service, cuase they lack the professionalism and are the reason you may considered a different location a different hotel for your next vacation."
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive

"Overall, I had mixed feelings about Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, but our stay progressively got better, and I would come back. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The modern aesthetic is impressive, and the beach club was easily the highlight. It’s gorgeous, the staff was wonderful, and the breakfast and lattes were great. The first few days, however, were disappointing. Service was inconsistent, and some staff initially seemed annoyed when we asked questions, although interactions often improved afterward and especially after tipping. Housekeeping was also extremely late. We would return around 4–5 p.m. to an uncleaned room with no fresh towels or washcloths and sometimes had to request service. Food was mixed. The restaurants were good, and breakfast was decent, but the lunch/dinner buffet was probably a 3/10. The pizza was genuinely bad, and the tacos/nachos were underwhelming. The pool snack shack was also out of several items despite the resort not being very busy. Interestingly, around day 3–4, I was walking around recording the property, and afterward the service improved tremendously. We even received a call from the front desk checking on our experience. That may have been completely coincidental, but the difference was noticeable. Housekeeping and overall attentiveness became much more consistent. Overall, the resort looks luxurious, but the service and operations need more consistency. Despite the rough start, the beautiful property, great beach club."
