「We had a nice stay at Otonomous. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed good wifi, tv and AC, and easy access to the pool (we had a pool view room with private pool, so we were on the main floor). The staff were all very nice and accommodating, as well. I would note, however, that there were limited cooking supplies (we had to request cutlery and pans, there are no cutting boards, other kitchen tools, or dish towels, etc.). You're also only given one bath towel and one swim...

「The apartment was dirty and dusty. We were 3 people and didn’t get the 2 bedroom apartment because we wanted the one that had the private hot tub in the balcony which only had one bedroom and when we got in the place to be able to relax the hot tub was dirty and broken and I told them and they wouldn’t send anybody to come fix it. Also the dishes were dirty and the sink in the kitchen barely had water to wash dishes, the water in the shower was like salt water terrible, and no where to find...

「My stay was wonderful! The staff were WONDERFUL and extremely professional. Perfect location inside the Tulum National Park. I traveled there solo for some RnR and felt very safe in the park. I went on regular walks by myself throughout the day. The hotel itself is VERY quiet and beautiful scenery. I ate all my meals at the hotel. Food is AMAZING! 「Amansala is a beautiful hotel with great staff, awesome beach club, and lovely rooms and ambience. Although, it is noisy! We were woken up each morning to grunting and barking and coaching from the retreat classes over a microphone that echoed throughout the hotel grounds. So, if you are booking a room here as a non-retreat guest, beware. There was also frequent construction going on behind our room. All this to say it was a beautiful place to stay, the main downside was the noise. 」

「I looked at SO many places to stay in Tulum, and was happy to find this property. It is a small hotel with exceptional staff. We were looking for a "budget" option to stay on the beach, that still offered comfortable accommodations. This does not have all the amenities of some of the larger resorts nearby; but the room was clean, the food was good, and we were happy to have a few days near the beach. 」
