If you want to use your money well, this is the spot where you should put it. Hire an instructor for either diving or snorkeling. It's worth every cent. Use the portable bathroom at the entrance. DO not pee in the Cenote. Follow instructions. Avoid the camera man. If you have a Go-pro it will be better. If you need to hire the camera man, bring money in pesos. Bring your own refillable bottle of water, and DO NOT use sunscreen. It kills the cenote.
