"✅ THE GOOD The property was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and while the shower pressure was just okay, we had no complaints about the accommodations. The evening shows were entertaining and a nice way to wind down. The drinks were fine, nothing special. The Italian restaurant was by far our favourite. The location is a major plus. You're just a short walk from 5th Avenue, which is vibrant and perfect for an evening stroll. ❌ THE NOT-SO-GOOD The food at the main buffet and most restaurants left something to be desired. The menu caters heavily to an American palate, which may or may not suit you. The Italian restaurant was the clear exception. The biggest thing to know before booking: THERE IS NO BEACH. The waterfront is rocky, and if a sandy beach is on your must-have list, look elsewhere. Pool chairs are another frustration. Guests stake their claim before 8am, and the staff does nothing to enforce a fair-use policy. Good luck getting a lounger if you sleep in. The resort's vibe feels more like a retirement community. If you're looking for a lively, energetic resort vibe, this likely isn't your spot. Bottom line: Great if you want a clean, relaxed base near 5th Avenue. Not great if you want a beach, a variety of delicious food, or a more dynamic atmosphere."

"Grand Riviera Princess was actually under construction amd ended up staying at their sister location.. Sunset princess. Rooms were clean and regularly stocked. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Definitely returning in the future"

"The pool was amazing. The property was beautiful. However, the customer service was terrible. Everyone seemed unhappy, and in a rush. There were a couple of great waiters in the buffet and the Asian bistro, however, I did wind up getting food poisoning from the bistro."

"Our honeymoon at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun was absolutely unforgettable from start to finish. Every part of the experience exceeded our expectations and made us feel truly relaxed, welcomed, and celebrated during such a special time in our lives. The resort itself is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious, and the level of service throughout our stay was exceptional. A special thank you to our concierge, Katya, whose professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our trip even more memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and always made us feel taken care of. We were also incredibly impressed with the restaurant selection and the quality of the food. Every meal felt like a fine dining experience, with amazing flavors, fresh ingredients, and outstanding service at each restaurant we visited. There was so much variety that every night felt unique and exciting. We left with amazing memories and cannot recommend Secrets Maroma Beach enough for anyone looking for a romantic and truly first-class getaway. We are already looking forward to coming back someday!"
