"I have nothing but good things to say about this resort. It had everything we were looking for and more. Staff was all excellent, especially Miguel our pool waiter. We did not leave the resort the entire week and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We have 2 young kids (2 & 4) and they also had a blast. I would definitely go back."

"The staff is amazing; the hotel itself is beautiful on the outside and the lobby area. The rooms are all in need of desperate updates. The snorkeling directly out front of the hotel is incredible. The beach is big and beautiful. As for the menu, it is limited. The omelette station is great for breakfast, use the QR code to order off the menu for lunches and be in line by 7:45am every morning to get reservations at the restaurant for dinner. The roof needs to be fixed at the beach restaurant to keep the birds out better. The drinks are good."

"This hotel was on the older side, and that was ok. The little cove / beach was beautiful and we snorkeled almost every day. If you don’t have googled the lifeguard usually can let you rent a pair for less than $5 for a few hours. The views were gorgeous. The food was actually pretty good and their salsas were spicy and had flavor! Usually all inclusive resorts lack that. This isn’t a party hotel at all, which is what i wanted. I wanted to just relax. That being said i came with 2 other coworkers on our spring break. We had booked months in advance so I was confused upon check in when they didn’t give us rooms next to each other , let alone on the same floor. They said it was “whatever was available “ like ok? We booked in advance for a reason. The second issue was that the people in the room next to me were extremely loud for 3 nights in a row way past 1am. Screaming, laughing, music etc. i called security the first night and they came immediately. When this happened the second and third night, security did not come up and check with them like they did the first night. There were no accommodations given after not being able to sleep for a few days and did not want to move me rooms. We left a key in a room one night and it was annoying they couldn’t give us another one, they made you walk up with them and look for your key in the room. I probably would not stay again , the hotel was pretty run down and old and the service could be a lot better."

"Right after we checked in we were greeted by an afternoon manager who asked if we had stayed with them previously. Upon learning we hadn’t, he immediately invited us to a special “welcome breakfast” with a member of the staff, the following morning. He said he needed 20 usd per couple to reserve the invitation. We agreed and scheduled to meet at 8:30 the next morning. In the morning, we arrived, meet with the manager at the desk, received our deposit money, and were escorted to the breakfast buffet by a young fellow. Unfortunately the small talk turned into a timeshare pitch. Can’t believe this is still a thing. If you play along and listen until the end, you’re rewarded with some “Monopoly money”. We found out (the hard way) that it really isn’t worth a tinker’s dam. The food and drinks are pretty good as are the pools and beach (beware of wild animals). Our room, in bldg. 17 needed the air on the entire stay (the thermostat was programmed to be set only as cool as 21 degrees centigrade ("
