"Amazing experience staying at the Champton, checked in early, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was perfect for my needs, services offered are 2nd to none. Roof top pool, sky bar, room service and gym/spa on premises. My 2night stay was over all too quickly, but i will be returning in 4 days for another 4 nights here."

"The service was exceptional, they were proactive in reaching out before we stayed there and allowed us to keep our bags there for a couple of days while we went trekking in Sa Pa. We returned to the hotel after our trek and they upgraded us to a super nice family room in the newly renovated wing. Overall very impressed by the great service."

I visited to celebrate a birthday, but the day came and went without any special acknowledgment from the hotel—no small gesture like a slice of cake or a card, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the overall experience was still worthy of four stars. A special mention to Trang in the F&B department, who was outstanding and made a real difference to my stay."

"If you want a luxurious place to stay in Hanoi, The Sofitel Metropole Hotel should be at the top of your list. Built in 1901, it retains echoes of the French colonial era. The service was excellent throughout; from the reception to the breakfast area, and our favourite, the pool bar! Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, with a smart TV that allowed us to connect to various services such as Netflix and You Tube. One minor point to note for visitors from the UK - the power point accept UK plugs without an adaptor, which is very handy indeed! This was our second visit to Hanoi. We stayed here for 7 days this trip and we were very sad to leave! Thank you to the all the staff at the Metropole; thank you Hanoi and thank you Vietnam. We will definitely be returning."
