「The room and view was amazing Room was absolutely beyond and above aspectations . Every extremely clean but only sugestions was that windows was not very Clean. I understand that pigeons have already their places and is hard to maintained but it just too fantastic view and windows could be a little bit more clean 」

「The building is beautiful. High ceilings and original fixtures make this a special place to stay. Located in a great location near to transport, shops, restaurants and bars. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Shannon and the other staff are friendly and efficient and made our stay enjoyable. Food was tasty in the restaurant. Breakfast in morning was good and again the staff serving were friendly. The room had everything we needed and a fantastic view of the town...

「Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well appointed. Thankful we got moved to 1st floor as no lift and I have some mobility issues. A fan in room would have been a great addition as it was quite warm. And Leaving windows open brought in traffic noise from road out front. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.」

「Was pleasantly surprised by hotel, room was nice, rooftop bar a bonus although there was an unpleasant smell drifting into rooftop from somewhere. Breakfast service and food was excellent. Would stay again and hope the smell was a one off」

「ヨーク大学の近くのホテルを探していて、庭や部屋の雰囲気が素敵だったので予約しました。ヨーク駅からは、7番のバスに乗って、Fulford Road, Main Streetで下車します。バスの運転手さんにホテルの名前を告げたところ、近くまで来たら教えてもらえました。部屋は広く、スーツケース2つ十分に広げるスペースがあります。またベッドもかなり広く快適で、夜ぐっすり休むことができました。古いホテルなので、少し壁が薄いですが、夜は静かでした。浴槽付で、洋服ダンス、引き出しなど収納スペースも十分あり、長期滞在にも便利です。ヨーク大学までは、歩くと20分ほどかかります。地元の人が愛用している、昔からあるホテルのようで、滞在中よく結婚式やパーティーなどが行われていました。近くにパブがあり、ホテルで食事も可能です。ただ市内に出たほうが、お店はたくさんあると思います。宿泊は年配の方が多かった気がします。ヨークで静かに過ごしたい人におすすめです。」
