「Well presented within walking distance of town centre, pub's and restaurants. Anne/Dave 😆(building manager) was lovely, she worked hard to keep the place so clean and nothing was a problem if you asked 😉 stairs were challenging to the top floor but we managed and wi-fi was a bit sketchy (none at all in our room) hopefully it will be sorted by the owner. All in all a lovely place to stay ♥️」

「I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included.
My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.」
「The hotel facilities are good. We were waiting in line to get in, but the woman at reception was already helping other guests and seemed to ignore us a little. She also spoke very very fast. If that hadn't happened, it would have been great. I wondered if it was because we were Asian. It was the first unpleasant feeling I had in the UK on this trip. It would be helpful if there was a shuttle bus to the airport terminal.」
