「This is my second Hotel Indigo stay, the last was in Edinburgh for 7 days as well. As a tourist who likes to walk and take in every possible sight, the location in the city center , could not have been better. In addition , it was surrounded by small restaurants offering almost every ethnic food one could think of, as well as many countless traditional pubs. 「A 5 minutes walk from the Shambles makes this hotel a quiet haven away from the usual York crowds. The downside is it's a little further to walk from the railway station (20 minutes) but you can use the bus to make that journey The staff are super friendly and helpful.
