ヨークのおしゃれなホテル

「Had a good 2 night stay at The Pavilion. Lovely character manor house kind of property. All staff (even though quite young) were friendly and efficient. Good location as could hop on a bus into the city. Parking (payable) at the hotel or park on street free if any spare spaces. Rooms were ok/fine, had to move from 1st one as towel rail and also toilet roll holder were both hanging off the walls. They upgraded us for free to king room. This was a good size although carpet showing slight signs...

「Fantastic hotel. Staff are really friendly. They treated our daughter to a chocolate bar for her birthday. The pantry of treats for guests is fantastic too. The rooms are lovely. The food is great. A great atmosphere. We will be back. 」

「Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. 」

「高速道路からかなり離れており、ナビゲーターなしでは、探すのに苦労します。ホテルは古城ホテルの雰囲気を伝え、特に環境が素晴らしかったです。敷地は広大で、野生の鹿が多数棲息し、鷹やミミズクを飼育しているほか、敷地内の池、沼には水鳥が泳ぎ、芝生のいたるところにうさぎが跳ねています。食事、サービスは行き届いていますが、ホテルの部屋の設備は今一つで、冷蔵庫がなく、またバスタブにお湯をいれるのにかなりの時間がかかりました。鍵を部屋の内側からかけられないため、夜9時半を回ってから、ベッドメーキングにハウスキーピングの係りがカギを開けて入って来て、時差ボケで早寝をしていたため、びっくりしました。」
