「Perfect host , very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him . We arrived late and he even sat and had a drink with us in the lounge . Really homely . Very clean . Fresh flowers in our room and chocolates was a nice touch .Breakfast was perfect . Reasonable price . 」

Excellent communication from owner Catherine when I enquired about leaving the car there before check in time as we were attending York Races.Catherine arranged early check in and advised on taxis to the Races. The whole B&B is very tastefully decorated with very high quality everywhere beds are an absolute dream! Breakfast is outstanding freshly cooked beautifully presented and top quality! 「A perfect location for the event I attended in York with great access to the Minister, Contemporary Art Gallery, De Grey Rooms, Bars and Restuarants. Didn't spend much time in the hotel, unfortunately (not even for breakfast). There was too much to do in the city! 」
