This is the most wonderful place to stay. It is on a working farm but very close to York. Catherine was the most amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was cooked to order and couldn’t be faulted. Her recommendation for food was spot on and any questions were answered. My husband and I can’t wait to return in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone considering staying here

The hosts were very attentive and helpful, if we needed anything they were more than happy to help. The room was immaculate, the entire farm was incredibly clean, plus there were calves in the barn next door! The breakfast was amazing and home cooked, the bacon especially was great. Would definitely stay again if we need a BnB in the York area.

Absolutely perfect place to stay! Catherine was an amazing host with great communication prior to our visit, friendly and also being extremely accommodating in allowing us to check in earlier etc so we could change prior to attending a wedding locally. The room had everything you could wish for and the breakfast was brilliant. We only wish we could have spent more time there! We would definitely stay again and also recommend to others.

We can honestly say we have found a hidden gem with this beautiful B&B. Not sure where to start from the moment we got there Catherine was so welcoming and friendly then we got to see the gorgeous country cottage style kitchen if you wanted to use kitchen facilities then the stunning bedroom with very tasteful decor and and tea & coffee making facilities in the room, elegant bathroom with spacious walk in shower. The breakfast wow great selection of cold breakfast items and a delicious cooked breakfast definitely made with love. We could not find fault with this delightful place set in a working farm which didn't intere with the relaxation of our break we will definitely be going back. Thank you Catherine for making our stay so wonderful what an amazing hostess and no detail to much you have everything covered perfectly.

From arriving to leaving Catherine was the best hostess ever. Most helpful with tips re where we could get a good evening meal and short cuts to the park and ride. Choices for breakfast were excellent although we just opted for cereal, yogurt and toast. Rooms are first class. I had a great nights sleep. First class rooms and I will certainly recommend. The B&B was lovely and Catherine was a great host, very welcoming and keen to ensure that everything was perfect for us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was amazing. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely location, which was a perfect base to explore York from.

The room was amazing and very clean. Catherine welcomed us at the door. We had the best nights sleep ever and woke up feeling refreshed and enjoyed the best breakfast we have had in a long while. After breaking Catherine took us around to see some of the animals they have. I would rate this a 20/10 and would highly recommend staying here. We will be back again next year. Thank you Catherine and Chris for a wonderful stay on your farm.
