the hosts are lovely people, very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is very convenient for travel, sightseeing and city centre. The breakfast was excellent including a very good selection of fruit and cereal as well as the full english. I would definitely stay here again.

The owners are friendly and attentive . They treat every customer like a VIP. The house is well- maintained. You can see every details the owners made. It is not the style of modern hotel but we enjoy our stay in this cozy and traditional english building.

The Apple house staff were great. Very friendly, easy check in, nice breakfast for reasonable. The neighborhood is very cute with several cafes, restaurants, pubs, and shopping. This place is very close to York and is a good place to use as a home base for a visit. The room was quite dated and could use some updating. There is street noise.

We stayed at this guesthouse because it offered rooms suitable for families with children. The room and amenities were comfortable, and the delicious breakfast made us feel truly welcomed. What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour (like we did!) Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful little B&B with very friendly staff and a cute Apple theme. The decor is a little outdated, but it's clean with comfortable beds. Walking distance from the train station and a short walk into town, it's great if you're looking for a budget friendly option to crash in after exploring York all day.
