The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring York and within 14 minutes walk of all you need to visit, ie York Minster, The Shambles, Jorvik Viking Centre and much more. Made two specific requests beforehand and both were met to complete satisfaction. Hotel staff very friendly, polite and helpful. 「Point of detail about shower cabinet - would benefit from shelf for soap & shampoo etc to save huddling about on the floor.」

「Great from check in till check out. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Work going on, so a bit difficult to park, but we found a space. Short walk into the town with lots of places to eat with 5/10 minutes walk. Would book again when visiting Harrogate 」
