「In total it is a good accommodation. Good location and access, and kind staff. Wifi connection in the room was very weak.」

「Check in was very smooth a lovely young lady very helpful and welcoming friendly atmosphere.My Room was clean and warm comfortable bed and nice shower.Evening staff also very nice and welcoming to . Lovely character pub good parking very short walk to the shambles.I also had a very nice cooked breakfast in morning,I will stay again definitely.😊A lovely stay.」

「The staff were very welckming on reception.and in the dinng area but however i found there was too much noise going on while we were here not sure what was going on it appeared to be some renovation work but it kept us awake for 2 out of 3 nights also it was very hot for sleeping breakfast was very good didnt disappoint and staff were great 」

「The overall service was very good. There was plenty of safe parking at the back of the hotel. The room was spacious and there was a good choice for breakfast. Were I to need a hotel in the future close to Selby then I would have no hesitation in staying at this one again.」

「Staff were very helpful especially carrying our bags to and from our room. The room was very clean and the bed was soft and extremely comfortable. The room was in the basement and there are steps but they are broken up not continuous so weren’t too problematic for some one with slight mobility issues. The music and noise from the bar ended at 11pm and we didn’t experience any noise from outside or other guests. 」

「The owner was very helpful and friendly. You can refill your water bottle and hot water is also available at the reception. Pleanty of option for dinner and breakfast. Easy access from train station, about 5-min walk. No elevator which is usual in the UK. Highly recommended. 」
