Inexpensive hotel in a great location and five minutes walk to the centre of York, having the added advantage of onsite car parking. Have stayed here twice now and will definitely be staying again. Far exceeded our expectations for what first appears to be a budget hotel.

The staff was very kind, the check-in and checkout was quick, the room was clean with tv, wifi, nice view! I haven't had a chance to try their breakfast or bar although they offered me that.

Stayed 2 nights, everything you need, clean well stocked rooms. Landlord Dan explained everything & was happy to answer any questions. Short walk into York Centre either straight up the road or via the Canal 10-15 min stroll. As noted everything you need clean & well prepared rooms & good selection of beers in the bar with sky sports to watch the football. For me & the wife perfect stay.

Good budget hotel to stay in York with free parking. Staff were great and really helpful. Only downside of the room was the single glaze windows. The hotel is on quite a busy road so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or get a room at the back of the hotel.
