"This is a room in a pub. But our room was to a high standard and almost large enough to be a suite. Absolutely in the centre of Whitby. Breakfast was good and hearty too. Could do with more power sockets in the room, though."

(We did get our own dishwasher tablets, coffee and sugar but lovely to be provided)The house was clean all the way through & the board games were a lovely touch as we played a couple! "The host Azmat was lovely, she was there at the end of the phone to answer any queries we had and helped us with directions when we discovered an unexpected road closure. Larpool Mill is a beautiful property that's been tastefully decorated and in a wonderful picturesque location. The hosts have thought of everything, guests will want for nothing regarding amenities."

"Fantastic stay for a 70th birthday. Location brilliant. Steep steps for some but we are all young at heart! Some misgivings before we set off from West Yorkshire re the weather ( we are English after all!) but lovely and sunny in Whitby!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable ground floor cottage. Very close to all amenities, great pubs and restaurants. The scenic harbour is just across the road, giving a lovely view from the living room window. We were lucky and got a parking space on the road outside the cottage. Can definitely recommend."
