ãAn amazing hotel. From the quirky decorations to the exceptional staff, we were thrilled with our choice of hotel and would not hesitate to return there or recommend to anyone else.
The food was delicious too, easily the best in the area.ã
ãDebbie was absolutely lovely, she went above and beyond⊠this is an absolute hidden gem. The bath in the Paris room is amazing. The beds super comfy, thereâs nothing we didnât like. Weâve already booked to come back :-) Thank you for an amazing child free weekend away x

ãThe hosts, Andy and Ann are very friendly and approachable and ready to sort out any issues. I enjoyed the full English breakfast every morning which was cooked to order and a self service area for tea, coffee, toast etc. Since my last visit a couple of years ago the Wi-Fi has been much improved and the small TV has been replaced with a 40" smart TV.
The grounds are always well kept.
The only downside was using Expedia for the first time. They told me my room was booked but Saltburn House...
ãI am a regular at the Captain Cook Inn. It has an unique ambience which refects Staithes village itself. Bed extremely comfortable but the duvet was a higher tog than the heatwave needed.ã
ãGreat place to stay, lovley staff and greet food,
The restaurant was packed on a Thursday night,, say no more,,
Will definitely stay there again ã
ãCameron (owner) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area, he also prepared a great breakfast.
Our room was on the top floor, a comfortable and decent size room and large bathroom, it also had sea views across the harbour
Our visit was for a birthday celebration, we were given a card and a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was a nice touch and much appreciated.
We would definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Staithes, a good base for visiting the surrounding...
