「Looks grand from the outside and reception, with beautiful grounds. It’s dated. Very dated! We booked the cheapest room so walked a few miles in corridors getting lost in lifts that only go to certain rooms and then a stairwell that was really smelly. We had drinks in the bar, asked for coke was given Pepsi without being asked if I was ok with that and then the £4 small bowl of fries was literally cold. No need to return. 」

「Nice room but outside balcony was covered in cobwebs and leaves. Couldn't find a way to turn the heating down and was way too warm in the room. Only one balcony door would open 」

「Excellent place to stay with free parking outside and only a ten minute walk onto the seafront. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We had a double room which was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Scarborough.」
