「The property is very new (open 4 months I believe). Still working out the kinks but has a lot of potential. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. Down side is no bed larger than a full. My husband and I did not sleep well on this smaller bed. 」

「No pudimos hospedarnos en Alea, estuvimos en Nerea, cuyo personal tiene una atención maravillosa. Cada día la persona de limpieza dejaba la habitación impecable. Las instalaciones siempre estaban idóneas y limpias. La playa a pesar del sargazo era accesible por el muelle. También disfrutamos con el kayak y los chalecos salvavidas que tienen a disposición. 」

「I liked hotel design, building, rooms, cleanliness and pleasant staff, free Kayak for sea/ocean BUT 1) Does not have variety of restaurants in the hotel or around it ( IT IS A BIG DEAL ). Entire area has hotel restaurants & food is 3/5 rating. BTW Be aware!!! shuttle 24/ Hours from Hotel to Airport is 120$ as per Hotel management and we paid 75$ by Cab ( we got lucky) otherwise cab is 100$ as well unless you bargain. 2) It is away from downtown Tulum 20-30 minutes and it is not east...
