"This was a great house for our family of 6. It is the entire house, 3 floors, with 4 bedrooms on top floor. Main floor has a combined kitchen/dining room/family room and a separate area with Tamami mats/tea room, and basement has a TV room and a pool table room. House is very nice, very clean, and just 2 minutes from Fushimi Inari Shrine. 2 train stops away from main Kyoto station. Good internet, fast. Any concerns were minor: tricky to adjust water temperature, difficult to figure out...

"This was our second stay at Serendipity. The property is nicely maintained and we were very comfortable. Chie san was very helpful. We tried out some more of her recommended restaurants and were not disappointed. A particular plus is that the house, while very quiet, is just steps from a major bus line, so that it is very easy to get downtown, to the station, or to Higashiyama or Gion, in just minutes. "The staff was wonderful. At first i was hesitant for an upgraded room by front desk but took it and the view was stunning and did not disappoint of the Eastern part of town as well the Kamo River. The subway station is directly under the hotel so if you need to catch a subway train or need to get off at a station near you, it will be conveniently under your hotel which also doubles as a shopping mall and connects to the shops underground in the subway station.
