"This hotel is across the plaza from the train station. Close to restaurants and shopping. The one-bed room is tiny. The two-bed room is adequate. The bathrooms are a step-up modular unit and small. The staff are attentive and diligent. If I come back I will stay here again, but only in a two-bed room. "

"Not only do they provide yukata to use for the bath, the onsen itself was lovely, the water was always the perfect temperature and the staff was wonderful. The rooms are cozy but there are spaces to put larger pieces of luggage beneath the bed. Overall, it’s a short walk to some major destinations (Kyoto Station, Aeon Mall, Kyoto Aquarium) and has a convenience store…conveniently right next to it! Highly recommended."
