This is easily one of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed at. Great location, staff and restaurants. It was the perfect mix of Japanese and western. AMAZING HOTEL! I can’t stop talking about it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants were expensive but staff was great. Our room was cleaned multiple times a day but there was a musty smell coming from the tub and shower area. It appeared clean and spotless but did smell musty.

It was a luxurious and beautiful hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent and some of it was fantastic, The art deco was very nice and pretty. Had all the amenities you’d need. Beautiful marble bathroom with a deep bath. However the only thing I was disappointed by was you can’t order fries or a burger on the in room dining night menu. Overall it’s wonderful and luxurious hotel centrally located in Kyoto near the main train station and had top restaurants and top service would very highly recommend it!!

The hotel was excellent, the location Soso. Little bit of a walk to Kyoto station. Though there is a public bus that comes in front and it’s easy to hail a taxi. Note, kids under 12 are only allowed in the pool until 10 AM. We had breakfast included, which was a great option. In addition to the buffet, there are some menu items that can be ordered à la cart, that are quite tasty and included. Wife says the spa service was very good and the afternoon tea. Room service had good items and reasonably priced.
