This is a beautiful hotel and the staff is excellent. I would highly recommend and stay here again. The location is great. It is practically adjacent to Kyoto station which makes it very convenient to get around and there are plenty of options for food and shopping. We did not use the amenities or dining because we were busy exploring but I would imagine them to be excellent because this is the type of hotel that caters to their guests and shows a high level of care.

Like: clean room and large Location : so close to Tokyo train station but still quiet and classy Staff very polite They could have included the breakfast for the price we paid for the room … But overall: fantastic hotel

The hotel was elegant and breathtaking. My daughter enjoyed the magical stairs. All the staff was kind and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. And it was nice to have either American buffet or Japanese breakfast as our options to start our day perfectly.

Great modern hotel. Spacious comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Daichi, one of the concierges was incredibly helpful, particularly with a medical matter.

A fabulous hotel newly refurbished. Very comfortable beds and rooms, superb service and very good quality food. Extremely convenient to Kyoto station (about 3-5 mins walk) dependent on your exit. Great gym and spa. Recommend allowing a little extra time for your breakfast as hotel is always full and consequently busy.

I had a wonderful stay at the thousand Kyoto. The staff were friendly and professional. The facilities were well kept and had well appointed amenities. I would definitely look to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Kyoto looking for convenience and a five star accommodation experience.
