"The hotel is well situated in the downtown area of Kyoto, close to Nishiki market and plenty of shopping and food options. Our room was a nice size with a comfortable bed. The only complaint about the room was the lack of 100V outlets. I've stayed in many hotels in the country and know this is not always provided, so I'm not faulting the hotel too much for this.
