"Great hostel! We had a private room so didn't feel like a hostel, other than the shared bathroom. Almost felt more like a pod hotel, with private rooms. Great showers and bathrooms, and cool kitchen and lounge area. The bunk beds were great with privacy curtains. Only "complaint" is there is no water dispenser to fill up your water for the day, or breakfast. "

"The atmosphere was great, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating of a few extra questions I had, and the location was beautiful. Just helped make an already great trip even better. Plus the beds were the most comfortable I’ve had in a hostel so far!"

"The room is larger than it looks on the photo. Our family of 4 has a lot of space to move about and even a living room /dining area. The location is walkable distance from Kyoto Station but do prepare a walk for a bit, but it's also quiet, good for resting after a day of touring /shopping."

"The location was perfect, allowing for multiple opportunities each day; a walk along the canal, shopping nearby, multiple transportation choices to get to other areas. The hotel staff were very professional, courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend!"
