Great peaceful place to stay at Holbox

Is a small hotel, 1 block from the beach, but the best thing they have in the hotel is Victor! The service he provide to everyone is awsome! Much more that expected! You will find a lot of beach clubs close by, depending on your budget. ÑAÑA is one if the best ones, but expensive.

Charming rooms in a peaceful environment, yet only a block and a half from the best part of the beach in Holbox. Staff was courteous and responsive. A large water bottle in the apartment was a plus. Breakfast was good, although a little day-to-day variety in the menu would have been appreciated. Overall a great value compared to higher priced places on the beach.

Small charming hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast included every day. Only downside was Holbox is an island with no paved streets, just sand. When it rains it gets very flooded. The hotel could use pavers leading to the rooms to help keep sand out. There were areas to rinse your feet, but were immediately covered in sand again so you were dragging it inside your room, bed, etc,

Gorgeous property, but the real highlight for us was the service. Victor was so helpful and so lovely to talk with. His restaurant recommendations were both excellent and when we wanted to rent bikes he made them appear within a few minutes. He also made a wonderful breakfast each morning, served in the lovely courtyard area. Be warned: if you're planning to get work done over the Internet, this whole island isn't the place for you. The power goes out often and the Internet isn't reliable. Bringing a headlamp/flashlight is an excellent idea. If you want to relax and enjoy the beach, you will love this place!

A slice of heaven

We stayed at Arte Sano for 12 nights over Christmas and New Year, on our second trip to Holbox after visiting the island a few years back and WOW we are so happy that we chose to stay at Arte Sano. The room was spacious, as we opted for a room with a separate living and bedroom. The host was SO friendly and accommodating, preparing delicious breakfasts every morning, and even treating us to dinner on a few nights too. The location was amazing, 30 seconds to the beach, super close to walk to the main town and lots of gorgeous beach clubs - this area of the island is for sure the best to stay! The host cleaned our room whenever we asked for a refresh, and stocked us up with a large water dispenser and the most delicious coffee that they kept topped up. We absolutely loved every moment of our stay here, fantastic value for money and would absolutely recommend. On another note, neither of us are vegan, but still really enjoyed the food on offer for breakfasts, granola, fruit, pancakes etc. Thank you to our wonderful host for making it so memorable!

Amazing hotel with fantastic staff/owners

Big and spacious living area with a separate bedroom, great with a refrigerator and coffee maker! Location was absolutely fantastic, so close to the beach and just a short walk to downtown. We loved that breakfast and dinner was included in the price, you get a lot for your money here. The best part about the hotel though was the amazing owners, the chef and staff which made this place feel so welcoming and homely.

I booked my stay on Expedia using the the pay at check-in option. When I arrived Victor charged me a premium to use my card. This isnt disclosed in their listing. The TV or hair dryer didnt work. Breakfast is the same each day and is sparse. It was strange that they hold your drivers license to borrow a beach towel. The beds and pillows are ancent and uncomfortable. They do supply drinking water.

El hotel es bonito, tiene buena ubicación, el personal muy amable. El desayuno es bueno, los hotcakes deliciosos. Me parece caro con respecto a lo que es. Le hace falta algo de mantenimiento pues en el lavabo se salía el agua por debajo de la llave. El tapete que colocan para el baño podría ser de otro material adecuado para la zona y que se pudiera secar fácil pues no tiene nada de ventilación. La alberca es muy, muy pequeña, bien podría ser una tina de baño. Sin embargo la pasamos muy bien, solo que por ese precio me iría a un mejor lugar que si hay en ese costo, me di a la tarea de investigar

El hotel: el servicio de limpieza de la habitación hay que reservarlo el día anterior; el desayuno leche, café, té, fruta en mal estado, huevos revueltos, pankakes, y cereal; las escaleras sumamente peligrosas, pues se trata de una escalera de caracol cuyos peldaños están inclinados, no en forma horizontal; el agua caliente se acaba con suma rapidez; el mosquitero de la puerta principal roto; las camas sumamente incomodas pues los colchones están deformados, aún y cuando les pusieron unas colchonetas corrientes; en tres días no se pudo usar el servicio de tv por falta de pago del establecimiento y un control remoto defectuoso; terrible que no puedan prestarte una toalla de playa en un hotel de playa; las calles de acceso al hotel enlodadas, y con charcos que abarcan toda la calle, no existe iluminación en una de las calles lo que hace sumamente peligroso el caminar de noche y eso creo que es responsabilidad del hotel pues está en una esquina y al menos su propiedad debe estar bien iluminada y con aceras, en muchas partes de la isla así sucede, los propietarios son los que se ocupan de ello. La Isla en general llena de basura, sargazo amontonado en las playas, calles inundadas, enlodadas. Tour de bioluminiscencia un fraude, los responsables deberían ser honestos y decir que en ciertas épocas del año no se puede apreciar y abstenerse de ofertar algo que saben que no se ve.

Idyllinen paikka, jossa kaikki kaunista, siistiä ja puhdasta. Aamiainen oli kattava. Sijainti todella hyvä, käveletäisyydellä keskustasta ja lähellä saaren kauneinta rantaa. Hotellissa oli mukava ja viihtyisä tunnelma. Eriyisesti 5 tähteä Victorille, joka oli äärettömän vieraanvarainen, avulias ja mukava. Paikassa oli myös valloittavan ihana kissa. La propiedad esta de muy buen espacio, limpia y muy cerca de la playa. Viajamos con mascota y nos encantó que fue tratada con mucho amor. La comida muy rica pero sobre todo el trato que nos dieron Victor y Oscar, fue espectacular, muy al pendiente, amables y colaboradores. Definitivamente para regresar.

Excelente. El alojamiento supero nuestras expectativas. La atención de los anfitriones siempre cálida y de primera. La habitación limpia, fresca, con servibar y rico shampoo y jabones en el baño. La mejor playa de la isla esta a solo cuadra y media. Y el centro del pueblo está a corta distancia pero convenientemente apartado para evitar el bullicio Un agradable desayuno esta incluido. Y además, lo mejor para nosotros, son "pet friendly" !! Regresaríamos sin duda
