"Room was clean and comfortable. We arrived early and a lovely lady in reception completed our registration details and let us store our bags. When we checked in later, the gentleman at reception only addressed my (male) partner throughout the whole process, even though I had booked and paid for the room. "

"The family terrace room was tired as was the terrace itself. The only bathroom amenities provided, beyond soap etc, was a shower cap. None of the USB charging points in the double socket worked in the room, and we also found the same was true of at least two sockets in the executive lounge. We were also working right housekeeping letting themselves into our room at 8:30 am! However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, having access to the executive lounge was very useful and hotel itself is beautiful, it just needs some love and attention in areas"

"Nice location , restaurants and markets like 2 minutes walk . Hotel was clean and staff friendly , but if you need quite room to sleep make sure to especify when booking, our room we could hear the train it was very noisy."

"We appreciated that the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but do not feel like the room was what we were expecting. There are no pictures on Hotels.com that showed the room we actually got and we were disappointed that the bunk bed was halfway in front of the window and the ladder was blocked by an end table. The room was more cramped that we envisioned and there was no room for the 4 of us to turn around or have our luggage opened up unless it was on our bed. The bathroom was as accurately small as depicted in the picture and that was fine, but the shower did not work well. It took ages to heat up and then it felt like it was burning my skin because it was so hot - we never found a middle ground. Also, the doorknob to the bathroom was falling off. We knew the stairwell would be narrow because it is London and sure enough, it was extremely narrow. Our backpacks were fine going up it but my sister struggled with her carryon rolling suitcase. The breakfast downstairs was tasty and plentiful (loved the waffles with Nutella)! We loved that our hotel was only a 2 minute walk to the Paddington Station. Would stay here again because it was cheap, clean, and close to the station."
