"Good location, near multiple transport options. Our room had a kitchenet with electric stove, microwave and dishwasher. Clean new room, enough space for 2 people."

"This hotel is ideally located if you are arriving or departing from Paddington Station. You literally walk out the side door of the hotel and you are in the shopping area of the station and it's a quick elevator or escalator ride to the platforms. Regarding the hotel itself, the room we had was a little dated, with furniture that was probably top of the line in the 1980's. There were signs announcing that renovations were going to begin soon. Also, the hotel is sprawling. We had a very long walk to our room, and with heavy luggage it was a bit annoying. Don't be afraid to ask for something by the "lifts" if you don't want to roll your bags all the way to the end of a long and winding corridor. Finally, on the night we were there, there was a fire alarm at 1:00 AM and we were asked to evacuate the hotel. We were allowed back in fairly quickly, but the hotel's communication about the incident really was substandard and there was confusion about whether it was safe to go back in, what the situation was and no compensation was offered."

"Great rooms and breakfast but disappointing reception. The reception was not welcoming, ignored benefits I deserve and tried to give me the lowest room available despite being a platinum. I had to argue to get the a decent room. No refill of water bottles despite asking for. If service improve they will be five."

"Two sets of stairs to navigate down into the room from the entrance door make it very difficult with luggage. It can also be a hazard if having the go up one flight of two steps to go the washroom in the middle of the night. It also seemed that there was a pull down shade missing between the washroom and the bedroom to block light."
