"Large hotel located 3 minutes walk from Kensington High Street tube. Only snag was the noise of the trains on the tracks at the back of the hotel. Ran until late and restarted early. Our room’s double glazing wouldn’t lock tight closed. Otherwise a good hotel."

"The lobby was absolutely stunning, as was the rest of the hotel. Beautiful decorations. Room was a bit small but I was staying by myself so I didn’t mind. Location was great, about a 2 minute walk from the Queensway Train station, which basically takes you right into the city. Feels very safe for someone traveling alone! "

Look, I get some of the cost-savings…. although the very annoying machine-checkin, while 2 staff members stand right next to it is just pointless, people want to check-in/out to a human, not a screen…. But I then overheard a tech say the following. The air cond is deliberately turned off at 11am, 6pm and 2am. It turns itself off in every room. UK buildings like this are often really hot, 10 degrees more than outside as they have been designed to keep...

"Enjoyed the stay at the hotel although I think we must have had the room furthest away from the lifts. Still it was manageable and this room had a walk in shower which is better for us. The location is great as our preferred mode of transport is the bus and there are stops both directions just outside the hotel. This weekend was a bit of a disruption as road works closed some of the bus stops. All in all a most enjoyable stay."

"Well all the staff were absolutely brilliant, down to earth yet really welcoming, they seemed genuinely happy that we chose the hotel. I hate to feel that people are subservient to me, both my kid and I that visited, love to engage with people that take pride in their work but never want anyone to act in a subservient way merely because we pay to stay. Please make sure your staff continue to be happy for that makes us equally happy customers to mingle with chilled staff. The price range was a...
