The location is wonderful -- steps away from St. Paul's and the Milennium Bridge, and thus the Thames, the South Bank, the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Also a very short walk from St. Paul's tube station. The property itself is pretty good. I had a Standard room, which is larger than a Club Room and a bit bigger than one would normally expect in a non-luxury Zone 1 hotel. But the housekeeping was mediocre and unpredictable, and the air conditioning didn't work. Trying to get help from the staff was a nonstarter, in part because they tend not to speak English well enough to communicate about problems like that. Also, only one elevator (of two total) was functioning during my visit. On the other hand, the club "living room" with 24-hour soda and snacks was very nice.
