"We had a wonderful stay! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, we never had an issue finding chairs at the pool, loved snorkeling in the cove, and enjoyed seeing the sea turtles every morning while drinking our coffee. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. The only downside is the food wasn’t as tasty as we hoped it’d be however, having the shuttle service came in handy so we could try other restaurants nearby. "

"The Big Island Retreat is a lovely property located minutes on foot to one of the best snorkeling beaches on Big Island. We stayed in the Ocean view room which was over 2 floors. The view from the bedroom is lovely. The rooms are quite small with little storage. The bed was only a double and very high off the floor making getting into it really hard. The bathroom is not totally enclosed and has no basin as the kitchen sink is just outside. Although there was nobody staying in the rooms...

"This resort was relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity. The only reason that I did not give it a perfect review was due to the really weird design of the window in the bedroom. It was a corner window that faced into the outdoor entrance to the condo. We always had to keep the blackout curtains tightly shut. Now, the patio on the other side facing the pool and the ocean made up for it. This is where we spent our time when we were in the condo. "Beautiful resort, right on the beach, within walking distance to dining and shopping. Pool is family friendly with lots of shade & loungers. Highly recommend this location and staff are fantastic! "

"I love the quick access to everything near Kona. Parking was easy. The pool was closed for remodeling during my stay but it was not an issue due to near beach access. There were no issues with cleaning every 2 days."

"Location, location, location. We had a corner room that was quite literally "on the rocks". Our most expensive room ever during our 53 years of marriage, but well worth the cost."
